What is Cool Sculpting?
A Word On Results
Freeze Sculpting results can be seen as early as 3 weeks after the treatment. The most dramatic results will be visible 3 – 4 months after the procedure. (Tests indicate that the changes are noticeable between 2 – 7 weeks)
Are the results permanent? When a person gains or loses weight, the fat cells simply become larger or smaller through storing fat. The actual number of cells remains the same. Through a fat reduction procedure such as Freeze Sculpting, the number of fat cells within the body is reduced so, whatever fat cells you lose through the procedure is gone forever!
Benefits of Freeze Sculpting:
- Non-surgical and non-invasive
- Short treatment times
- No downtime
- Good aesthetic results
- Minimal side effects
- Thermal-related dermal tightening may also occur
- No incisions or scars
- No anesthesia
- No risk of fat embolism
- No bleeding problems
- No extended post-operative recovery
- No post operative medication
In addition, some fat reduction procedures also provide a certain degree of skin tightening as a bonus and counteract the after-effects of lipolysis (i.e., sagging skin).
The salon also offers RF Skin Tightening sessions as an add-on for extreme sagging skin that may be needed for those clients who already have sagging skin from previous weight loss that is not corrected with the Freeze Sculpting treatments. If you already have sagging skin, it is highly recommended that RF treatments be done PRIOR to Freeze Sculpting.
Please remember: This procedure is for FAT REDUCTION not WEIGHT REDUCTION! It is important to follow a sensible diet and exercise regimen.

Prepare for Success
The Freeze Sculpting (aka: Cryolipolysis and CoolSculpting) procedure is a non-invasive body contouring treatment that uses a vacuum applicator to draw in tissue and deliver controlled cooling at the surface of the skin. The procedure is suitable for the spot reduction of fat. It is not a weight-loss solution. Clinical studies have show the results to be proved, noticeable and lasting. As with most procedures, visible results will vary from person to person.
It is common for the treated area to feel bloated and look swollen in the first few days and weeks after a Freeze Sculpting procedure (the length of time varies from patient to patient depending on health, hydration and area being treated).
The suction pressure may cause sensations of deep pulling, tugging and pinching. You may experience intense stinging, tingling, aching or cramping as the treatment begins. These sensations generally subside as the area becomes numb.
After the procedure, the treated area may look or feel stiff and transient blanching may occur (temporary whitening of the skin). You may feel a sense of nausea/dizziness as your body naturally warms and sensation returns to the treatment area. These are normal reactions and typically subsite within minutes.
Bruising, swelling and tenderness can occur in the treated area and may appear red for an hour or two after the applicator has been removed.
There may be a dulling of sensation in the treated area that can last a few weeks after the procedure. Other side effects may include deep itching, tingling, numbness, tenderness, pain, strong cramping and muscle spasms. Some clients may experience a delayed onset of these occurrences. Contact your Freeze Sculpting provider immediately if any unusual side effects occur or if symptoms worsen over time.
You may start to see results as early as three (3) weeks after the Freeze Sculpting procedure. The most dramatic results will be visible after 3-4 months. Your body continues to naturally process the dead fat cells from your body for approximately four months after the procedure.
In rare cases: patients have experienced vasovagal syncope during the treatment and reported freeze burn, darker skin color, hardness, discrete nodules or enlargement of the treatment area. Surgical intervention may be required to correct the enlargement.
